Abstract

This study aims to produce android-based learning media in biology learning of motion system material in humans that are suitable to be used for learning activities of class XI IPA high school students. This study uses PLOMP development model (2010). Development of learning media is carried out from initial research stage (preliminary research) to prototype (prototyping satge). Determination of samples using purposive sampling technique. Based on technique, determination of sample taken is 10 students from each school based on certain criteria, namely the SMA / MA that applies 2013 curriculum and has school accreditation is A. Technique of collecting data uses a validation sheet in the form of a required response questionnaire students after using the learning media. Before being tested, learning media first goes through the validation stage by media experts, material experts and Biology subject teachers. Data analysis technique uses descriptive quantitative data. Results of this study are in the form of media products learning motion systems in humans based on Android which are packaged in the form of applications. Results of media expert's validation showed that the learning media included a very decent category with an average score of 91.89%. The results of the material expert validation showed that the learning media included in the very feasible category with an average score of 97.50% and the results of validation by Biology subject teachers showed that the learning media included a very decent category with an average score of 95.63%. Assessment by students gets a percentage of 93.05. The overall rating is 94.52%. Based on the results of the validation of the experts obtained products in the form of motion learning media in android-based humans are very feasible to use in Biology learning activities in class XI IPA SMA / MA.
