Abstract

The purpose of this study to develop learning media on Bekam material for students of department biology education on Islamic University of Riau academic year 2017/2018 by using model of Plomp development (2010) consisting of initial research stage and prototype stage. Determination of Sample using purposive sampling techniques and 30 students of Biology Education in Islamic University of Riau who has taken Medicinal plants subject academic year 2017/2018. The data in research is obtained through the activity of the intial research stage (requirement analysis) until prototype stage that experts validation (learning expert, material expert and media expert), and the feasibility test by using questionnaire of student response to instructional media has been done. Data analysis technique used the scale method with Likert modification. The result of research is the prototype of Microsoft office power point learning media in prototype form of Compact Disc (CD) on material bekam for Medicinal Plants Subject. The result of joint validation by learning expert, material expert and media expert shows that the developed Microsoft Office power point learning media is very feasible to be used in the learning process with an average percentage of 94,32%. Medicinal learning media of Medicinal Plants that devoloped this also get very good response from student with average percentage 90,67% with very good category. Based on the validation result of the experts obtained product learning media of medicinal plantswith the category very suitable to be used in the learning process.
