Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of ability and motivation partially on the performance of nurses in Lancang Kuning Pekanbaru Pekanbaru and to know and analyze the effect of ability and motivation simultaneously on the performance of nurses in Lancang Kuning Hospital Pekanbaru. This study will take place in the Pekanbaru area with the object of research at the Lancang Kuning Hospital in the Riau province which is located at Ronggowarsito Street, Riau Pekanbaru. The population of this research was 33 nurses at the Lancang Kuning Hospital in Riau province. Sampling uses the census method so that the number of samples is 33 people. Data analysis using multiple linear regression methods. Based on the results of the study it turns out the nurse's performance as stated by some in Lancang Kuning Hospital is good. Respondents regarding the ability and motivation of nurses work, most of which stated that the ability and motivation of work had been good. The test results can be concluded that the nurses' ability to work at Lancang Kuning Pekanbaru Pekanbaru has an effect on nurse performance. The test results can be concluded that the motivation of nurses working at Lancang Kuning Pekanbaru Pekanbaru has an effect on nurse performance. The results of correlation testing indicate that there is a strong and positive relationship between ability and work motivation with nurse performance in Lancang Kuning Hospital Pekanbaru.
