Abstract

Culture of modern society that the said social deviation in the waters, that people catch fish by using dynamite bombed, electrocuted, and the use of chemicals cyanide used at sea. Meanwhile, in the river to catch fish by tuba / mutas fish and catch fish with electric shocks. Ways contrary to the traditional knowledge in managing, utilizing the environment. Today's society mindset is only concerned with this present life only. But it is not concerned with the lives of our children and grandchildren to come, so in utilizing this nature they offhand damage. So that the real face of nature and culture lost their identity by human activity. Something similar happened in the village Mentulik Kampar District Kampar Kiri. Where Mentulik village is a village that river flowed. Besides being used as public toilets, Kampar river is also used as the local people to earn a living because of the Kampar river is rich in natural resources, namely fish. There are different ways to catch fish that are used by the villagers mentulik that is the way fish trap and gill nets, etc. However, with the advancement of science and technology, fishing is done by village communities mentulik no longer in line with what is taught by our ancestors is to assemble a stun tool. Stun tool consists of Aki, the armature winding and sticks. The purpose of this study was to determine the reaction of the community over the shock fish in the village mentulik subdistrict Kampar and determine the factors that cause shock fish in the village mentulik subdistrict Kampar regency. The type of research in the study were included into the type of qualitative research by using descriptive survey method. The results showed is Reaction Society Upper shock fish in the village Mentulik divided into two kinds of reactions formal by confiscating and sanctioning the perpetrators to perpetrators not to repeat his actions again and the reaction informal done is burning appliance that is used as a tool to stun and his boat so that there a deterrent effect to the perpetrators.
