Abstract

Based on the observation results obtained problems in this study is still there are some players who do not have good passing and stopping techniques an accuracy of passing is still lacking. The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of eye and foot coordination to passing and stopping football at football school Duri Galaxy Kabupaten Bengkalis. This type of research is correlational, where the variables studied are the coordination of the eyes and feet and the ability of passing and stopping football. The population in this study amounted to 20 students of SSB. The sample technique uses total sampling. The sample size is 20 people. The instrument of this research is the eye and foot coordination test and passing stopping football test. Based on the results of calculations that have been done, the researchers get the value of r count is 0.585. the value is in the range between 0.40 - 0.70 with the category of moderate correlation. The r value of the table at df = 18 at the 5% error level is 0.444. The result of comparison between the value of r arithmetic and r table value is the value of r arithmetic> r table value or 0.585> 0.456 means there is a significant contribution. Conclusion in this research is there is contribution of eye and foot coordination to passing and stopping football at football school of Bengkalis Galaxy dump of 34,3%
