Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the contribution of leg muscle explosive power to shooting results in students extracurricular football MTs An Najah Pekanbaru. This type of research is correlation. The population in this study is all students extracurricular football MTs An Najah Pekanbaru which amounted to 15 people. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The test instruments used are standing arm jump test and shooting test at the ball. Data analysis technique used is calculation of corelation. Based on the research results obtained value with rhitung 0,595> rtabel 0,514 so it can be concluded that there is contribution of leg muscle explosion to shooting result at student ekstrakurikuler football MTs An Najah Pekanbaru equal to 35.40%.
