Abstract

Based on observations or observations directly on students of basketball extracurricular male students at 11 Pekanbaru High School, researchers found that there were many players in the Pekanbaru 11 High School basketball team who were less agile in doing Dribbling techniques. The purpose of this study was to see how much agility contribution to the ability of male students basketball basketball dribbling extracurricular SMA Negeri 11 pekanbaru. This type of research is correlation with the analysis using correlations with measurement techniques using correlational or relationship analysis. The population is the whole extracurricular students of SMA Negeri 11 Pekanbaru with a population of 15 people. The instrument in this study uses the hypothesis testing using the product moment correlation test. rxy, the results obtained r count = 0.504 at a significant level of 5% t table = 0.497. Because r count is greater than rtable, thus the variables X and Y variables have a very significant relationship. From the results of data processing above, there is a contribution of agility to the dribbling ability of extracurricular students of SMAN 11 kota pekanbaru with an increase in capability of 25.40%.
