Abstract

Eigenface method is a method created for face recognition process. By comparing the sample face data stored in the database with the test face data. Will be able to produce facial recognition data of students who will take the exam courses. Eigenface method is considered suitable writer applied in this research. Implementation of the eigenface method is concluded to produce good facial recognition. Although the search faces of students must be done repeatedly to find a match with the training data. System accuracy test has a good performance with the average questionnaire percentage of 84%, so the application is feasible to be implemented.
