Abstract

This research was conducted to know the relationship of religiosity with self-control in hooded teens. The purposive sampling technique was used in the sampling technique, with the error level is 5% of the total population. The number items in this research are 24 for self-control scale and 36 items for religiosity scale. The data were analyzed by using product moment of correlation test from Pearson which shows the value of the correlation coefficient r of 0,624 with p of 0,000 (p<0,01). Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is a positive correlation and significant between the religiosity with self-control. The positive correlation shows the higher level of religiosity, it will be higher level of selfcontrol, Similarly, the lower level of religiosity, it will be lower level of selfcontrol.
