Abstract

This study aims to determine the laboratory profile and competence of laboratory manager teachers science/ Biology Junior High School 13 Pekanbaru school year 2017/2018. based on permendiknas No 24 of 2007 and Permendiknas No. 26 of 2008. Data analysis in this research is done descriptively. The sample in this research is the science teacher who manages the laboratory at Junior High School 13 Pekanbaru. Data obtained through observation sheet, questionnaire, interview, document recording. From the results of the research on the laboratory profile, obtained a percentage on each indicator that is, the furniture facilities of 100% are in very complete category, educational tools obtained percentage 85,18% are in very complete category, 100% education media are in very complete category and other equipment show 75% are in very complete category. While the results of research competency of laboratory manager of labor obtained by percentage in each aspect respectively that is, qualification aspect 100% is in very competence category, personality competence equal to 85,16% is in very competence category, social competence obtained 80,35% is in the category of competence, managerial competence of 58,16% is in the category of sufficient competence and professional competence indicate 64,81% are in the category competence. Percentage of labor profile of Junior High School 13 Pekanbaru, percentage average 90,045% (very complete) and accordance with Permendiknas No 24 of 2007). Competence of laboratory managers teacher science/ Biology of Junior High School 13 Pekanbaru, percentage average 70,48% (competent) and accrordance with Permendiknas No 26 of 2008.
