Abstract

This study aims to determine students' cognitive abilities biology class XI Biology 2 SMA YLPI Pekanbaru Academic Year 2017/2018 through the implementation of cooperative learning model Teams Tournament Games (TGT). Classes are taken to implement the cooperative TGT a class XI Biology 2 SMA YLPI Pekanbaru number of students 33 people, where the number of men and women people people. Parameters measured were student learning outcomes in the form of absorption and mastery learning gained from each quiz sessions, meetings and tasks each daily test at each cycle. Technical analys was of the technical data used is descriptive analysis. Descriptive analysis of learning outcomes that was done twice a cycle of eleven sessions, absorption of students decreased by 5.53% from the prior CAR (80,03%) after the first cycle CAR cycle (74,50%) and experienced an increase of 14,75% after the second cycle (89,25%). It can be concluded that the adoption of the Model of Learning Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Can Improve Learning Outcomes Cognitive Integrated Science Grade Students of SMA YLPI Pekanbaru XI Biology 2 Academic Year 2017/2018
