Abstract
This research has 2 stages, namely; (1) the stage of tissue culture research; (2) the stage of developing a tissue culture module at FKIP Biology UIR. The first research aims to determine the effect of NAA on the growth of moon orchid leaf explants. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (RAL) consisting of 5 treatment combinations (4 levels with NAA (0.5 ppm; 1 ppm; 2 ppm; 4 ppm) plus 1 control (without NAA); 0 ppm) and each level was repeated 6 times. The results of the tissue culture research showed that NAA concentrations were not significant to the growth of explants but significant to the percentage of bud forming, number of buds, percentage of roots forming, number of roots, percentage of leaves forming, and number of leaves. The development stage used the ADDIE model with several stages, namely analysis, design and development. The results of this research are printed product, namely tissue culture modules. The research data was obtained from the results of validation by material experts, learning experts and response tests with lecturers and 16 students who had taken tissue culture elective courses in 2015. The results of the validation by material experts showed that the developed module had an average percentage of 86,45% (very valid), from the learning experts to get an average percentage of 87,74% (very valid). This developed module received very valid responses from lecturers and students. This can be seen from the average lecturer response of 95,48% (very good) and students with an average percentage of 90,31% (very good). Based on the results of the validation of the experts, the product was very valid and applicable for learning process.
