Abstract

This study aims to develop comic learning media on the material structure and function of organs in the digestive system for class XI SMA / MA using the Plomp (2010) development model which consists of the stages of initial research, prototype stage, assessment, documentation and systematic reflection. But in this study only arrived at the prototyping stage. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling technique, and the number of samples 30 students of class XI high school. Data collection in this study was obtained through validation by experts, namely material experts, media experts, and teachers. In addition, a limited feasibility test was also carried out by using a student response questionnaire which was tried out to students. Data analysis techniques using a scale method with Likert modification. The results of this study are in the form of a prototype of comic learning media products in the form of printed materials on the material structure and function of organs in the digestive system. The results of the validation of material experts showed that the comic learning media developed was very suitable for use in the learning process with an average percentage of 97.50%. The results of the media expert validation showed that the comic learning media developed was very suitable for use in the learning process with an average percentage of 93.54%. The results of teacher validation showed that the comic learning media developed was very suitable for use in the learning process with an average percentage of 93.49 %. The comic learning media that was developed also received very decent responses from students. This can be seen from the average response of students with an average percentage of 90.83% (very feasible). Based on the results of the validation of the experts, comic learning media products with the category are very feasible to be used in the learning process.
