Abstract
This research has 2 stages that aims to determine the effect of BAP on the growth of nibung explant and the development of tissue poster culture media in FKIP Biology UIR. This research was carried out at Biotechnology Laboratory of Agricultural Faculty of Islamic University of Riau and FKIP UIR Biology from January to March 2018. The design used in tissue culture research is Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with one factorial that is BAP. BAP concentration consisting of 4 levels ie 0 ppm; 0.1ppm; 1 ppm; and 2.0 ppm. The results of research on tissue culture stage showed that the concentration of BAP significant to day emerged callus, percentage of total eksplan form callus and callus height. The quickest callus appears on the 20th day of day after culture in the treatment of BAP 2.0. In the percentage of the number of eksplan form callus, obtained the highest percentage in treatment BAP 0 ppm (B0) that is equal to 62.5%. At callus height, callus reaches the best height at 1 ppm concentration of 0.8 cm. Research development stage of the researcher using ADDIE model. Media Development is done with several stages namely, analysis, design, and development. Determination of this research sample using purposive sampling technique. Based on the technique, there were 30 students from two class, 5A and 5B. Data collection techniques use validation sheet by material experts and media experts and see student responses to posters developed by conducting limited feasibility tests. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis. The result of this research is in the form of print product that is poster of tissue culture. The results of validation by material experts show that the poster developed is very feasible to use the average percentage of 95.83%. The results of validation by media experts show that the poster developed is very feasible to use with an average percentage of 97.36%. This developed poster received a very worthy response from the students. This can be seen from the average student response from two classes with an average percentage of 95.31% (very feasible). Based on the results of validation from the experts obtained the product in the form of tissue culture poster is very feasible to be used in the learning process.
