Abstract

This study as a purpose to determine the students’ perception of the learning implementation of biology class VIII at 3 state junior high schools dumai academic year 2017/2018. This research is a descriptive research. The method used in thir research is survey method.data collection is done using qustionnaire, documentation, and interviews. The sample used in the research as many 198 people, using technique random sampling, taken from class VIII at 3 states junior high school Dumai is states 3, states7 and states Binsus academic of the year 2018/2019. The questionnaire distributed consists of 28 item questions. Based on the results of research from 3 states can be seen that mean of: indicator 1 is in good category with percentage 84,18%, indicator 2 is in good category with percentage 82,05%, indicator 3 is in good category with percentage 85% indicator 4 is in good category with percentage 79,25%, indicator 5 is in very good category with 91,81%, indicator 6 is in good category with percentage 81,17%, indicator 7 is in good category with percentage 77,03% indicator 8 is in very good category with percentage 95,51%, indicator 9 is in good category with percentage 81,28%. It can be concluded that the overall average of the response of students is 75,03% with good category.
