Abstract

Moon orchid is one of the national pride orchids among the types of orchids found in Indonesia called "puspa charm". The increasing need for orchids and orchids endangered due to forest exploitation needs to be supported by the provision of seeds in large quantities and in a short time, as well as good quality by multiplication through tissue culture. This research has two phases: Phase 1 Tissue Culture Research aimed to know the influence of BAP and IAA on the growth of moon orchid explant stem using Randomized Complete Design (RAL) which resulted that the combination of BAP and IAA is not significant to live explant, number of root, but significant to the percentage of forming the buds, number of buds, percentage of forming the roots, the percentage of leaves and the number of leaves. And Phase 2 Development of Tissue Culture Module in FKIP UIR Biology by using ADDIE model. Data collection techniques use validation sheet by material expert and learning expert and see lecturer response and student response to module developed. Determination of the sample of this study using a large group technique taken at random consisting of 16 students of force 2015 who have taken the preferred course of tissue culture in semester 5. The percentage results obtained from material expert are 86,52% (very valid). The percentage results obtained from learning expert are 87,74% (very valid). This module got very good response from lecturer with average percentage 94,62% and student response with average percentage 91,41% (very good). It can be stated that developed product is very valid dan applicable in learning process.
