Abstract

Children as part of the younger generation is the successor of the ideals of the struggle of the nation and human resources for national development. However, in the territory of Tenayan Raya law the child actually commits a crime. Crimes committed by children in the territory of Tenayan Raya law is to do the mugging. As for the formulation of issues raised in this study is what factors behind the child as a mugbender? The type of research in this study is included into the type of qualitative research with the aim of describing the actual situation of what happened in the research location through data collection, identification, and analyze the data so that obtained an answer to the problems formulated. Key informants in this study are Two children who do the mugging, while the informant are two parents of perpetrators, two friends of perpetrators and head unit of reserce cminal police Tenayan Raya. The results of interviews that the authors do about the causes of children as the most dominant mugging actors is the lack of love and the absence of children participate in conventional activities.
