Abstract

This research was conducted in District of Pucuk Rantau Kuantan Singingi Regency. The purpose of this research is to know the role of sub-district head in fostering the village head in Pucuk Rantau sub-district Kuantan Singingi regency. To know the factors that inhibit the duty of Camat in Assisting the Village Head in Pucuk Rantau District Kuantan Singingi Regency. The population in this study is the District Government Pucuk Rantau Camat, Camat Secretary, Head of Government and Village Head. For Camat and staff of Kecamatan Pucuk Rantau use census technique, this is considering the limited number of population, while for the Village Head using Purposive Sampling is to determine the sample research in accordance with the author's consideration of influential people and play a role in the implementation of Village Government in Kecamatan Pucuk Rantau Kuantan Singingi Regency. Based on the results of the research that the authors do about the role of sub-district Head in Assisting the Village Head in Pucuk Rantau District Kuantan Singingi Regency is the role of sub-district Head in the Village Head in Pucuk Rantau District Kuantan Singingi regency can be categorized is good enough. However, there are still weaknesses or shortcomings of the sub-district heads of Pucuk Rantau in the direct supervision of the village heads, in responding to complaints received from the village head, communication between sub-district and village heads, and provision of facilitation.
