Abstract

Government Regulation Number 43 of 2014 concerning Implementation of Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages. In Article 26, paragraph 4, the Obligations of the Village Chief, one of which is from the article in letter C, that is, Maintaining Peace and Order in the Village Community. The purpose of this study is to find out the results of the implementation of the obligations of village heads in maintaining peace and order in the community in Tambusai Batang Dui Village, Bathin Solapan District, Bengkalis Regency. The author uses the evaluation theory according to William Dunn with indicators of effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, leveling, responsiveness, accuracy. The type of this study uses a mixed method that uses qualitative and quantitative methods as well as the study population, namely the Village Head, Village Secretary, Head of Government, Head of Welfare, Kadus, Chairman of BPD, Chairperson of RW, Chairperson of RT, and Bhabinkantibmas determined by census technique, type of collection The data used are primary data and secondary data, techniques in data collection using questionnaires, interviews, and observations, then the data is analyzed descriptively, based on the results of the analysis then Evaluation of Implementation of Obligations of Village Heads in Maintaining Peace and Order of the Community in Tambusai Batang Dui Village, District Bathin The solution of Bengkalis Regency was considered to be good enough. It was expected that the village head of Tambusai Batang Dui would better improve the facilities and infrastructure that support the implementation of the Village Chief's obligations in maintaining peace and order.
