Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the role of the camat in carrying out supervisory tasks. In this study the author uses supervision indicators proposed by Drs. Manullang which indicators are as follows: establish a measuring instrument (standard), Hold an evaluation (evaluation) and make improvements. The type of research located in Sungai Apit Subdistrict is prioritizing the results of interviews and supported by the results of the questionnaire as a means of collecting data and data collected with this tool and then used as the main raw material to analyze the empirical conditions of the objectivity of the existence of research objectives in the location studied. There are three population groups and samples, namely 2 people in the Apit River District office, 2 village heads and 35 members of the village community empowerment institution. The techniques used to determine the sample are purfosive sampling. Types and data collection techniques used consist of primary data taken from the basic techniques of questionnaires and interviews and secondary data collected using observation techniques. While data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis. Based on this analytical technique, the researcher assessed and concluded that the role of the Camat in supervising the use of village fund allocation in Sungai Apit Subdistrict, Siak Regency was at the sufficient rating interval. Recommendations that need to be considered, especially with regard to the quantity of visits of the Camat to the village, assessment of development and coordinate with the LPM to mobilize the community in terms of development in the village in order to obtain maximum results.
