Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of service in the district police sector Rambah Samo in dealing with community complaints and its inhibiting factors. Indicators of assessment of service quality used include the timeliness of service, courtesy and friendliness, ease of getting services, and convenience in obtaining services. Type research located in the police sector Rambah Samo district is descriptive by using quantitative methods, which is exploring and clarifying the phenomenon or social reality, by way of describing a number of variables that are concerned with the problem and the unit under study tampa disputes relationship between variables. The methods and techniques used in assigning individual samples are the census method for the employee population and the Purposive Sampling technique for the population. The types and techniques of data collection used consisted of primary data collected using questionnaire and interview techniques and secondary data collected using documentation and observation techniques. While the data analysis technique used is to use five phases in data collection. Based on this analytical technique the researchers assess and conclude that knowing the quality of service in the district police sector Rambah Samo in menagani complaints are at intervals less qualified. Recommendations that need to be considered especially dealing with the quality of human resources is further improved, then the availability of information in the form of operational procedures standard (SOP) is better equipped on information boards, and the addition of police personnel in the sub-district police unit Rambah Samo, all of which are useful to increase public confidence during the process complaint service takes place.
