Abstract

The purpose of the study was to find out the implementation of the sub-district head task in coordinating the implementation of peace and public order in Kampar District, Kampar Regency. This research was focused on the Kampar Sub-District Head because considering the task of the sub-district head that was given was to coordinate security and order. The issue of security and order in Kampar sub-district is still high compared to other sub-districts in Kampar Regency until 2018. In this regard, the authors conducted research on the tasks of the sub-district head in the Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 17 Year 2018 concerning sub-districts in Article 10 "The Task of the subdistrict head in Coordinating Efforts to Organize Public Order and Order" was emphasized. The purpose of the author to conduct this research is to find out whether the obstacles and obstacles encountered in the field by the sub-district head. The population of this study was 6,608 people, adhering to the principle of rationality and to support the validity of the results of this study, the sample size was set at 66 people. In this research, the writer uses descriptive method that is describing and summarizing various situations and variables that exist in the object of research. The results of the research conducted in Kampar District through 4 indicators are in the category of "Good Enough". This fact is evident from the overall average number.
