Abstract

Attendance is an activity to take data to discuss the amount taken at an event or activity, in which a lecture activity can be completed properly involving the student activeness held by each student held, in addition to attendance also has to follow the examination process, therefore Good monitoring of student attendance is needed. The increasing development of smartphone users can be used to facilitate and improve the attendance process of lectures, the use of mobile and web applications that are approved more effectively and efficiently related to the ease of accessing and retrieving information, by using the QR Code or Barcode application can also be used as a media attendance as a substitute hand calls, and to avoid cheating that is delayed by students and minimize cheating such as sending barcode image images to students whose positions are far from the campus environment can use the GPS (Global Positioning System) feature provided on smartphones to search for applications that use attendance
