Abstract

Al-Qur`an is the word of Allah SWT which was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad the Prophet SAW which in the Qur'an consists of 114 surah, 6666 verses. Verses in the Qur'an have a relationship between one sub-theme with other sub-themes. This study presents a thematic grouping of the Qur'an on the theme of believing in angels with the latent simantic analysis (LSA) method and weighting the tram frequency (TF) -invers document frequency (IDF). Based on this model, the grouping results are realized for the taking of scientific and analytical resources, the purpose of which is to increase the efficiency of scientific search and reduce the difficulty in grouping sura and verses in the Qur'an. The data on the theme of faith in angels is taken from the Amazing Qur'an (Cordoba) and the Qur'an data is taken from qurandatabase.org. The results of the study are the existence of 4 surah and verses contributing to be added to the sub-themes of the tasks of angels, from the results of evaluations by thematic experts and an increase in f1-scores between evaluations with the Amazing Qur'an (Cordoba) with average thematic experts 1 %.
