Abstract

The development of the current era of globalization is always experiencing very significant progress. Plus the information dissemination is very fast to various directions. Technology itself requires us to solve a problem with speed, accuracy and accuracy. One of them is understanding the content contained in the Al - Qur'an by analyzing and visualizing thematic Al - Qur'an. This study presents a thematic g rouping of the Qur'an using the latent semantic analysis (LSA) method and weighting of Raw count and IDF - Smooth. As an example of how to analyze a verse with the theme of faith in the books by gathering the whole verses of the Qur'an that contain the meani ng of the theme, then an analysis is done one by one from the verse, whether the verse falls into the category of believers in the books the book according to view in the Qur'an Amazing Cordoba. Data that has been analyzed by the system produces 22 suras a nd false positive verses which will then be re - evaluated by a Qur'anic thematic expert. The data that has been evaluated results in 5 contributions of surahs and verses with an accuracy rate of 44 - 47% in the sub-theme "Obligations and Virtues of Belief in the Books".
