Abstract

This study aims to determine the evaluation of the implementation of nosmoking area policy at the Arifin Achmad Regional General Hospital, Pekanbaru City. Where evaluation of policy implementation is measured by 6 indicators, namely: Effectiveness, Efficiency, Adequacy, Grading, Responsiveness, Accuracy. The formulation of the research problem is how is the evaluation of the implementation of no-smoking area policy at Arifin Achmad Regional General Hospital, Pekanbaru City? This type of research is using Descriptive types that are carried out by means of surveys. The location of this research is Pekanbaru City Health Office and Arifin Hospital Achmad Pekanbaru City. The population of this study were the Head of Pekanbaru City Health Office, P2P Field, Director of the Hospital Arifin Achmad Pekanbaru City, security of 20 people and visitors who smoked as many as 20 people. The type of data used is primary data collected through the questionnaire and interview process and using secondary data such as documentation. The results of this study conclude that overall the Evaluation of the Implementation of Non-Smoking Regional Policies in the Regional General Hospital of Arifin Achmad, Pekanbaru City is in the category of "Enough Enforced". The obstacles faced were the lack of socialization carried out by the agency and the askit house, the lack of supervision available, and the existence of unconfirmed sanctions.
