Abstract

The lack of facilities and infrastructure, promotion and tourism marketing provided by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports Pelalawan District. create a program of tourism development activities in Pelalawan District. cannot run maximally. In terms of tourism developer activities program. In addition to the budgetary budget for the program of tourism development activities in Pelalawan Regency. while the development of tourism sediri is to enhance the attractiveness of tourism through physical and nonphysical development, among others, with tourist objects, facilities and infrastructure, human resources services promotion and good marketing. To compete with other districts. Performance is a description of the level of achievement of the implementation of an activity, program, policy in realizing the goals, objectives, mission and vision of the organization contained in the strategic planning of an organization. Department of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports Pelalawan District is a government agency that has the task of coaching and execution of duties in the field of tourism, culture, youth, sports. And also has the task of assisting the Regent to carry out Government Affairs which become the Regional Authority and the CoAdministration Assignment given to the Regency. The purpose of this study is to determine the performance of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports In Tourism Development Activities In Pelalawan District. The type used in this research is descriptive with quantitative method. Data collection techniques used were observations,questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Sources of information are employees of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports district pelalawan. when measured from the performance of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports district pelalawan. can be assessed with indicators of this study are Inputs, Processes, Outputs, Outcomes, Benefits, Impacts. Based on the results of research performance of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports In Tourism Development Activities In Pelalawan District. spelled out poorly in tourism development. It is expected to the government and the performance of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports Pelalawan District in order to provide good facilities and infrastructure for visitors Tajwid lake attractions. so as to increase the welfare of the local community and increase local revenue.
