Abstract

he research was to know and explain the performance of village assistants in Topang village Rangsang subdistrict Meranti island regency. The researcher used some data collection technique, such as primary data which was collected by using a list of interviews and secondary data which was collected by using observation and documentation. The data analysis technique was used is descriptive method. Where the descriptive method was used to describe the reality of the performance of village assistants in Topang village Rangsang subdistrict Meranti island regency. After the data was collected, then grouped to be presented for analysing descriptively in accordance with the conclusion. The result of research was conducted by researcher entitle “The analysis of the performance of village assistants in Topang village Rangsang subdistrict Meranti island regency” with the indicator variable quality, quantity, time, and cooperation, can be categorized good enough. The in habiting factor of village facilitator performance is that transportation to the village of Topang is expensive and there is not special place to stay in the village of Topang for village facilitators. Thus an analysis of the performance of village assistants in Topang village Rangsang subdistrict Meranti island regency had been done well, although it had not been optimal. The researcher hope that there will be improvement in the future in order to achieve the vision and mission of Topang village government Rangsang subdistrict Meranti island regency.
