Abstract

Insurance is one way to cope and control risk. Insurance aims to reduce the uncertainty caused by the possibility of losses. Similarly, Prudential Life Assurance engaged in life insurance always strive to provide the best service for its customers, because the customer is an important key in this business for prudential to achieve the goal. In line with the above, the results of prasurvey writer bahwasannya still the complaints felt by the holder of insurance PT. Prudential Life Assurance on the grounds of filing a claim. This is caused by agents who are less active in responding to customers. To know Quality of Claim Service Life Insurance At PT. Prudential Life Assurance Branch Pekanbaru and to know the inhibiting factors in Quality Claim Service Life Insurance At PT. Prudential Life Assurance Branch Pekanbaru City. The research method used by the writer is The type of research in research is included into the type of quantitative research using Descriptive survey method. The results showed that Quality of Claim Service Life Insurance At PT. Prudential Life Assurance Branch of Pekanbaru City is determined by five indicators namely direct evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy can be quite good with recapitulation results as much as 47% and are in good enough category. Based on the results of research that has been done by the author that the inhibiting factor in Quality Claim Service Life Insurance At PT. Prudential Life Assurance Pekanbaru Branch is the lack of waiting room facilities for the community, lack of personnel who become operators in the management, lack of information provided by officers to the public and lack of responsiveness of officers to customers who want to claim.
