Abstract

This study aims to look at the Role of Interpersonal Communication Leaders in Motivating Employee Performance and seeing the obstacles in doing Interpersonal Communication, Communication has an important role in human life, almost every time we do activities through koomubungan with research locations in PT. Asahan Indah Ujungbatu District Rokan Hulu Regency. With the results of research that can be concluded the role of interpersonal communication leadership at PT. Asahan Indah Ujungbatu Sub-District Rokan Hulu Regency is located in the category of Less Role. Due to some obstacles such as the rarity of managers are in place during work hours and lack of compensation that makes employees less motivated in work so that interpersonal communication is less important. then the obstacles encountered as an inhibiting factor in performing or running the role of communication leadership of the PT in motivating work with employees is, the outside busyness that makes leaders rarely in place, busyness of promotion, as for other obstacles in performing the communication function as problem solving is the language, different backgrounds, less awareness level of employees in work and leadership in providing motivation.
