Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Workload and Human Resource Competence on Productivity at PT. Rohul Sawit Industri, Sukadamai Village, Rokan Hulu Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach with a sample of 72 respondents determined through saturated sampling or census. The types of data used include primary and secondary data, while data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, questionnaires and observations. Data analysis in this study uses the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM- PLS) model to evaluate the relationship between research variables. The results of the study indicate that workload has a negative and significant effect on productivity. This means that the higher the workload received by employees, the lower the level of productivity produced. Conversely, human resource competence has a positive and significant effect on productivity. This means that the better the abilities, knowledge, and skills of employees, the higher the work productivity achieved.
