Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Effectiveness of New Family Planning Services Long-Term Contraceptive Methods in Kubu Babussalam Subdistrict, Rokan Hilir Regency. the number of visits by patients with non-MKJP family planning is every day, but if patients with MKJP family planning are many when there is a certain moment. the lack of achievement of MKJP family planning acceptors in Kubu Babussalam Subdistrict, the lack of coordination of family planning extension workers and health experts plus family planning input is still low. The research method used is qualitative method. The data analysis techniques used were interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, which is a type of research that intends to describe events or data findings and symptoms that occur based on facts that appear or as they occur in the field at the time the research is carried out. Descriptive research aims to obtain information about the actual or actual events about how the Effectiveness of New Family Planning Services Long-Term Contraceptive Methods both from program targets, program socialisation, program success and monitoring activities. Based on the results of the study it was found that the New Family Planning Services Long-Term Contraceptive Methods in Kubu Babussalam District, Rokan Hilir Regency have not been running effectively due to the Human Resources (HR) of KB extension workers (PLKB) are still few in number, geographical obstacles such as the number of isolated / remote villages with heavy access / terrain, program socialisation is also weak due to limited access in rural areas, community norms that take a long time to believe, rigid extension methods without variation.
