Abstract

This research aims to analyze the Effectiveness of the Samsat Tanjak Program in Increasing Vehicle Tax Revenue at the Kubang Revenue Management UPT. The research variables use effectiveness with indicators: program target accuracy, program socialization, program goal achievement, and program monitoring. The research method is qualitative. The research location is at the Kubang Revenue Management UPT. The results of the study show that the effectiveness of the samsat tanjak program in collecting vehicle tax at the Kubang Revenue Management UPT has been effective in increasing tax revenue at the Kubang Revenue Management UPT. The Tanjak Samsat program makes it easier for the community to pay taxes and has a short process time which makes the people feel helped and satisfied with this Tanjak Samsat program. Additionally, the Tanjak Samsat is promoted through social media such as Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp groups of village officials to provide information to the public. The obstacles to the effectiveness of the Tanjak Samsat Program in increasing vehicle tax revenue at the Kubang Revenue Management Unit are as follows: a) Limited quantity and quality of human resources, b) Limited facilities and infrastructure in improving the effectiveness of the Tanjak Samsat Program, c) Lack of public awareness regarding taxpayers.
