Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Organizational Culture and Work Discipline on Employee Performance, with Work-Life Balance as an intervening variable at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of Indragiri Hulu Regency. This study used a quantitative research method. Data was collected using a questionnaire. The sample in this study consisted of 109 employees of the Bpkad of Indragiri Hulu Regency. The study used Partial Least Squares (PLS) data analysis. The results showed that Organizational Culture and Work Discipline had a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance and Work-Life Balance. In addition, Work-Life Balance also had a significant positive effect on Organizational Culture, indicating a reciprocal relationship between the two. However, the role of Work-Life Balance as a mediator between Organizational Culture and Employee Performance and between Work Discipline and Employee Performance was not proven to be significant. Thus, the influence of Organizational Culture and Work Discipline on Employee Performance was more dominant directly, without going through Work-Life Balance.
