Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of e-payment usage and financial inclusion on the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) located on Air Dingin Street, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City. The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 57 MSME owners as respondents. The data analysis techniques used in this study include validity testing, reliability testing, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test (partial test), F-test (simultaneous test), and coefficient of determination (R²), processed using SPSS software. The results show that, partially, e-payment usage has a positive and significant effect on MSME performance. Similarly, financial inclusion also has a positive and significant effect on MSME performance. Simultaneously, e-payment usage and financial inclusion have a significant effect on MSME performance. The coefficient of determination analysis indicates that e-payment usage and financial inclusion explain 61.5% of the variation in MSME performance, while the remaining 38.5% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of electronic payment systems supported by access to formal financial services plays an important role in improving MSME performance.
