Abstract

Financial literacy, risk perception, and social capital are among the factors that influence investment decisions. This study aims to examine the effect of financial literacy, risk perception, and social capital on investment decisions. The location of this study is Binawidya District, Pekanbaru City. This study is quantitative in nature. The sample size was determined using the Lameshow formula, resulting in a sample of 96 people. The data was obtained from questionnaires distributed to respondents. Data analysis was performed using SEM PLS analysis and data processing using the Smart Pls Version 3.0 application. The results of the study indicate that financial literacy, risk perception, and social capital have a positive and significant effect on investment decisions.
