Abstract

Group communication is the face-to-face interaction of three or more people, with known goals, such as sharing information, taking care of themselves, solving problems, in which members can remember the personal characteristics of other members appropriately. The 47-member Savage team is based in Pekanbaru. There are no other city branches, only one Guild. This guild initially only had 5 team members which later developed after the ANC (AOV National Championship) tournament was held. The purpose of this study was to determine the communication of Arena Of Valor (AOV) game players in the Savage Pekanbaru team. Descriptive qualitative research is an attempt to find problem solving by describing events based on existing facts or evidence. Based on the results of the research above, the Savage team uses small communication in its team group which is proven by the communication between one person and another which creates a sense of familiarity within the team itself. With the same goal in the team it can be concluded that the Savage team is included in groupthink. This can be proven when they are discussing all members can follow, take part, give advice until they disagree in the discussion until the agreement is agreed upon together. There should be changes made in the team, especially about how their behavior when playing so that it is no longer toxic. With the number 47 there is both making regular discussions for familiarity to all members. For members who do not give opinions, it is better for the chairman to ask the reason why not participate in discussions and not give opinions.
