Abstract
This study examines the persuasive communication strategies employed in the psychological education content of the @satupersenofficial account on Facebook Pro. The research highlights a phenomenon in which the number of followers does not align with the view count, even though the content serves an educational function. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method through nonparticipatory observation to videos conten of the @satupersenoffical and interviews with the account’s admin and three active followers. The results indicate that persuasive communication is implemented through empathetic narratives, soft visual aesthetics, and reflective invitations that follow the AIDDA model (Attention, Interest, Desire, Decision, Action). The persuasive process is shaped by psychodynamic strategies (emotional resonance), sociocultural strategies (social relevance), and constructivist strategies (co-construction of meaning through comment-based interAction). Although the view count fluctuates due to platform algorithms, symbolic engagement such as commenting, sharing, and saving content demonstrates audience loyalty to the account’s educational value. Thus, persuasive effectiveness is not determined by the number of viewers but by the quality of engagement developed through empathetic and consistent communication.
