Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) with the theme of local wisdom and the topic of traditional foods among first-grade students at SD Negeri 21 Pekanbaru. The research focuses on how P5 is planned, organized, and implemented to foster students’ independence, collaboration, and global diversity awareness. A qualitative phenomenological approach was employed to explore the real experiences of teachers, school principals, and students during project implementation. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the implementation of P5 on traditional food has been carried out effectively, as shown by the students’ increasing curiosity about local culture, active participation in project activities, and growing sense of pride in regional traditional foods. The project successfully provides meaningful learning experiences through enjoyable and contextual activities. Therefore, P5 significantly contributes to the preservation of local culture from an early age through elementary education.
