Abstract

his study aims to analyze the educational content uploaded on the TikTok account @tyasnastiti, particularly related to tips, strategies, and motivation for completing students’ final assignments. The background of this research stems from the phenomenon of increasing use of social media as a source of academic information, along with the growing number of students who experience confusion, loss of motivation, or stress during the thesis-writing process. Through short, communicative, and easy-to-understand videos, the account @tyasnastiti is considered capable of providing practical guidance that is relevant for students. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive content analysis approach. Data were collected through observations of 19 educational videos related to thesis writing uploaded on the account. The analysis was conducted to identify themes, main messages, and forms of content delivery. The results show that the content produced by @tyasnastiti not only provides technical information about thesis writing such as determining a title, writing Chapters 1 to 3, and understanding research structure but also contains motivational elements that help reduce students’ anxiety. Its casual, humanistic delivery using everyday language makes the content easily accepted by students and able to provide both emotional and academic support. Overall, this study concludes that TikTok can be an effective educational medium when used appropriately.
