Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand the extent to which the Village Government collaborates with stakeholders during the infrastructure development process, and also to identify obstacles that hinder such collaboration. A descriptive qualitative approach was used in this study. To collect the data, the research employed observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving the village head, village officials, the Village Consultative Body (BPD), the Community Empowerment Institution (LPM), and community members. The research findings indicate that effective collaboration is still far from ideal. This shows that both the community and stakeholders are still lacking in involvement during the planning, implementation, and supervision of village development. Moreover, due to poor coordination and communication between parties, several infrastructure development projects remain suboptimal. Therefore, the quality of collaboration must be improved by enhancing the involvement of all village community members and increasing transparency and accountability during every stage of development.
