Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of musyarakah and murabahah financing on the liquidity of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia during the 2020--2024 period. Liquidity was a crucial indicator of a bank's ability to meet short-term obligations; therefore. effective financing management was required to maintain financial stability. This study employed a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. The data used were secondary data obtained from the documentation of annual financial reports of Islamic commercial banks registered with the Financial Services Authority. The independent variables consisted of musyarakah financing and murabahah financing, while liquidity served as the dependent variable. The results indicated that musyarakah financing had a significant effect on the liquidity of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. Murabahah financing was also found to significantly affect liquidity, reflecting the dominance of murabahah financing portfolios within Islamic banks during the study period. Simultaneously, both independent variables were proven to have a significant effect on liquidity. This study was expected to contribute to the development of Islamic economics literature and to serve as a practical reference for the banking sector in formulating financing strategies that support liquidity stability.
