Abstract

Domestic violence (DV) is a serious crime that has long-lasting consequences. Domestic violence is a serious problem that can have significant impacts on victims, including psychological traumatic, physical injuries, and mentally disorders. This study aims to explore the impact of domestic violence on victims and their families. Through a literature review and data analysis, this study found that domestic violence can cause long-term impactson victims, including depression, anxiety, and impaired interpersonal relationships. Furthermore, this study also found that domestic violence can affect children who witness the violence, increasing their risk of experiencing phychological and behavioral problems. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection techniques through interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The results of this study are expected to contribute to efforts to prevent domestic violence and support victims of domestic violence.
