Abstract
This study aims to determine the extent to which discipline influences employee work productivity at the Siak Regency Social Service. Discipline is an important aspect in human resource management that has a direct role in supporting the achievement of effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of employee work. Disciplined employees will be able to carry out their duties and responsibilities in a timely manner, comply with regulations, and have loyalty to their work that affects productivity. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The sample in this study amounted to 52 respondents, all of whom were employees of the Siak Regency Social Service, and were taken using a saturated sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out through distributing questionnaires, observations, interviews, and supporting documentation. The collected data were then analyzed using SPSS software version 26, with tests including validity tests, reliability tests, simple linear regression, t-tests, and coefficients of determination (R²). The results of the analysis show that discipline has a positive and significant influence on employee work productivity, with a calculated t-value of 9.802 greater than the t-table of 2.009 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.658 shows that 65.8% of the variation in employee work productivity can be explained by discipline, while the remaining 34.2% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
