Abstract
This study aims to describe the difficulties faced by teachers in developing IPAS (Natural and Social Sciences) learning media for class Va at SDN 017 Bukit Kemuning. Learning media play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning process, especially in IPAS subjects that require students’ conceptual and visual understanding. Based on interviews, observations, and documentation, it was found that teachers encountered various obstacles in designing, implementing, and selecting media suitable for both the material and students’ characteristics. These difficulties stem from internal factors such as lack of design skills, creativity, limited time, and insufficient technology literacy. External factors include lack of training, limited resources, and inadequate facilities. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that teachers need specialized training and sufficient facility support to develop effective and engaging learning media.
