Abstract

This research aims to identify the issues occurring in the maintenance of machines at PT Beka. The maintenance carried out by the company generally consists of preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance. This study employs a quantitative research design with interviews as the main tool for data collection. It uses a probability method as an analytical tool to determine potential occurrences and assist in finding efficient maintenance costs. The results show that the maintenance at PT Beka is quite good, but its implementation needs to be more optimal. From the analysis of total maintenance costs, the lowest value of preventive maintenance is in the 12th month, which amounts to Rp 1,525,015. The estimated damage costs are Rp 749,998, and the preventive costs are Rp 775,017, when compared to corrective maintenance costs of Rp 892,693.
