Abstract

SMKN 2 Penerbangan Bukit Batu, located in Bengkalis Regency, faces challenges in asset management due to the continued use of manual methods involving physical record books and Microsoft Excel. This condition leads to issues such as recording errors, difficulties in asset monitoring, and inconsistencies in asset disposal processes. This study aims to develop an effective and efficient web-based asset management system to support the school's asset administration. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, utilizing PHP, MySQL, and the Laravel framework, with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. Key features of the system include asset procurement, inventory recording, monitoring, disposal, and asset data reporting. Additionally, the system is equipped with automatic depreciation calculation using the Straight-Line Method. The testing results show that the system performs well, achieving a high user satisfaction rate of 94,5% based on User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Therefore, the system has proven effective in improving the efficiency, accuracy, and transparency of asset management at SMKN 2 Penerbangan Bukit Batu.
