Abstract

Bidan Sandra is one of the health facilities located in the Siak district office. So far, knowledge and information on fetal development has only been obtained through images, posters and online media, from this problem a promotional media was designed using Augmented Reality technology. This promotional application using Android-based Augmented Reality technology can display 3D objects. This application is designed using Blender software to create 3D objects, unity using the ARCore SDK library and using the Markerless Technique. This markerless technique is used to make it easier for users because it does not require markers to display 3D objects. Augmented Reality can be applied in obtaining fetal development information, because it can provide practical information, easy to understand and can describe illustrations or real images and contain more information that cannot be expressed in images. The test results at a distance can be concluded that 3D objects can appear with a minimum distance of 30cm, in addition the application can also display 3D objects indoors and outdoors with textured tracking locations and have a light intensity above 10 lux. Based on the results of user testing, an accuracy percentage of 90,59% was obtained with 24 respondents, so that the designed application can be implemented as a media for fetal development information.
