Abstract
This study aims to develop a Virtual Reality (VR)-based learning application that presents basic football techniques for beginners in an interactive and engaging way. The development process uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method, which consists of six stages: Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing, and Distribution. The application was developed using Unity 3D and Blender, and includes five basic football techniques—passing, dribbling, shooting, heading, and tracking—visualized through 3D objects and animations. The testing results show that all features function properly, and user satisfaction testing involving 37 respondents resulted in a score of 83.1% based on the Likert scale, indicating that the application is feasible and effective as a learning tool. Therefore, the use of VR technology in physical education has been proven to enhance the understanding of basic football techniques more efficiently and enjoyably, especially for beginners with no prior formal playing experience.
