Abstract
This study aims to develop a history learning medium through an Android-based educational game that contains material on the history of Islamic kingdoms in Riau. The development was carried out using the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) method, which consists of the following stages: Initiation, Preproduction, Production, Testing, and Release. The game was developed using Unity 2D and programmed in C#. Testing was conducted using the Black Box and Beta Testing methods, along with user evaluation through a Likert scale questionnaire. The test results showed that the game functions as expected, and from 30 respondents, a satisfaction level of 84.52% was obtained, indicating that the application is highly feasible for use as a learning medium.
